Photographic donations

In the 1980s, the French Association for Photographic Heritage Promotion (AFDPP) brought together fifteen State donations and acquisitions, including Boudinet, Corbeau, Kertész, Kollar, René-Jacques, Réquillart, Voinquel and Studio Harcourt. These collections are now preserved by the photography department of the Media Library of Heritage and Photography (MPP). Since then, the Ministry of Culture has continued to pursue an active policy of preserving and gathering the collections from 20th-century photographers, and since 2015, the MPP has expanded its scope to include photojournalism and fine art photography, with many other donations added to the collection.
