    Located in the Monceau plain, in a 19th century mansion, this museum has a representative selection from various periods in the life of Jean-Jacques Henner (1829-1905). The collections retrace the painter’s career, including winning the Prix de Rome in 1858, his childhood in Alsace, his career in Paris and his time at the Villa Medici. The exhibited works allow the visitors to follow his evolution as an artist through drawings, sketches and paintings. Jean-Jacques Henner is considered one of the greatest painters of his time.
